Ashish Vakhariya
joined Marcus &
Millichap’s Detroit office in January of 2004. Previously
Ashish was Director of Investment Research for the brokerage
division of Comerica Bank. During his eight-year career in
the Investment Banking industry, he provided investment
advisory services to institutional and high net worth retail
clients. Ashish also analyzed REIT’s, home building and
products companies, and retail companies. Ashish is
currently a sales associate with a primary focus on retail
investment properties.
Ashish graduated from the University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics, and with an additional emphasis in finance.
Mark R. Postelli
Mark R. Postelli joined Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago office in August 2005. His main focus has been Single Tenant Triple Net properties. In 2006 and 2007 alone, Mark helped with the negotiation and closing of over $75 million in Retail, Office and Industrial transactions. In early 2009, Mark got back to his roots in Michigan and has been working with the Detroit and Grand Rapids offices of Marcus & Millichap ever since. Previously Mark has worked in Property and Hotel Management.
Mark graduated with a Bachelors degree with a major in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University in 1999, and a Masters degree with a major in Real Estate Finance and Construction Management from the University of Denver in 2005.

John Godwin
joined the
Marcus & Millichap
Investment Brokerage Services in March 2000 with a strong
background in business, negotiation and sales. He has been
involved in leasing or selling in excess of 10+million square
feet of office, high-tech, retail and multi-family
properties throughout the greater Michigan and Midwest
marketplace.
Prior to his real estate
career, John held positions with Colliers International
focusing on Investment Leasing Brokerage; Automated Data
Processing; and Tandem Computers, marketing services to the
Big Three Automotive Manufacturers. His technical
background, coupled
with an advanced business
degree, has proven successful in building a strong
foundation for his career in real estate. He has been active
in founding and publishing The Direct Source (Blacks Guide),
a Metropolitan Detroit Office Leasing Guide.

Philosophy
Matching a client to an investment

of the short- and long-term goals of both parties to a
transaction, as well as a real estate investment specialist
who can "quarterback" a transaction from beginning to end.
John Godwin has been involved in
leasing or selling in excess of 10+ million square feet of office,
high-tech, retail and multi-family properties throughout the
greater Michigan and Midwest marketplace. In these
transactions exceeding $700-million, he has represented
buyers and sellers, and has demonstrated strong ability to
work with clients involved in equity placement.
Working together with Marcus &
Millichap's large network of nationwide properties, John
Godwin provides clients with an abundance of expertise
and resources to meet all their real estate investing needs.
Ryan Vincio
Mr. Vinco joined Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit office in May 2008. Formerly, he worked as a Commercial Loan Officer and as an Underwriter for commercial real estate loans, and therefore has extensive knowledge of the Southeastern Michigan and Toledo real estate markets. Having worked on both the lender and investor sides of the deals, Ryan has a strong understanding of what buyers, sellers, builders and lenders need to make the deal close.
Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Finance from Michigan State University in 2000, and a Master of Science degree with a major in Finance from Walsh College of Business in 2003.
Aaron Ranka
joined Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit office in March of 2003.
He currently is an investment associate with a primary focus
on office, industrial and retail investment properties. With
numerous multi-million dollar transactions behind him as
well as previous sales experience Mr. Ranka is a well
experienced broker. Mr. Ranka earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in business administration and general management
with focuses in finance and economics from Michigan State
University in May of 2002.
Deno Bistolarides
Deno has been with the Detroit office of Marcus & Millichap for close to three years, beginning through the firm’s SIP program. He specializes in medical and general office real estate across the country, primarily in the Midwest and East Coast. He has completed transactions and analysis on a wide variety of real estate across the country, primarily centered on medical and general office, single tenant dialysis and surgery centers, as well as work in other property types as well. His experience in these arenas has allowed him to represent various sets of client groups throughout the country in a consulting, advisory and transactional capacity.
Deno is a native of Southeastern Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2006 with a degree in Economics.
